This is to certify that Harav Boruch Rappaport shlita, studied for many years as a senior member of our Kollel and gained proficiency in Shas and Halachah.
He completed our Semicha program and received semicha from the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem and Harav Zalman Nechemiah Goldberg, shlita.
He maintained a personal connection with Harav Moshe Halberstam, zatzal, of the Beis Din of the Eidah Hachareidis, who guided him in practical halachah.
For a number of years he served as the director of our halachah program. In this capacity, he successfully guided the Kollel members in studying and clarifying the halachah.
He gave overviews to new topics, shiurim to clarify the practical application of the halachos, and set and marked tests regularly to gauge the grasp and retention of the students.
As a result of his dedicated and conscientious direction, the students grew in their knowledge and understanding of practical halachah and gained skills to continue learning halachah independently.
We wish him much success in his future endeavors on propagating Torah in Klal Yisrael.
